Domain problem: http://domain.co.uk works fine but http://www.domain.co.uk fails!

Hi guys,

I just installed wordpress and can access wordpress admin dashboard and the site fine. the url is http://pyemministry.co.uk

However, when i visit http://www.pyemministry.co.uk the wordpress site fails to load. what i mean is: while pyemministry.co.uk is pointing to x10hosting's wordpress installation, WWW.pyemministry.co.uk is not. WWW.pyemministry.co.uk is pointing to x10hosting's default welcome page that you get when you create an account for the first time.

I want the visitors of my website www.pyemministry.co.uk to be able to see my site when they enter both PYEMMINISTRY.CO.UK and WWW.PYEMMINISTRY.CO.UK.

How can i do this?

well it's not like www.pyemministry.co.uk doesn't work. it's just that when i visit it using IE, Mozilla, Chrome etc, all I see is a this:

However, when i visit http://pyemministry.co.uk (without adding WWW first), the wordpress site loads, which is what I want to see when I visit www.pyemministry.co.uk

UPDATE: I think you are right. it's either a browser or DNS propogation issue. I can load the site with and without www on my smartphone (samsung galaxy s2) but on the laptop only the site without www is loading and pointing to wordpress. I think i should have waited a bit more before opening a support ticket first

update 2: thank you descalzo. your solution worked. closing this support ticket now. can now load site with or without www
