PHP Version error

I am getting the following error message whenever i try to access my website.
"Your server is running PHP version 4.4.9 but WordPress 3.2.1 requires at least 5.2.4."
I am currently using Wordpress 3.2.1 which ran fine until today evening. Moreover, I am unable to find any options regarding the update of PHP version. Please help.

Well, the last two options regarding php are missing on the 1H Software tab as shown in the screenshot.


And my php version is shown unknown.

It seems the function isn't available on your server. I took the screenshot on a server that has already been through the upgrade process, whereas yours is undergoing it now. The problem you're having is likely related to this maintenance, and so I suggest you wait until it is completed and then re-assess the issue. The status page is here: http://status.x10hosting.com/
