Question Strange Random Coding After All URLs

    Hello,

This afternoon I noticed some strange and what appears to be random coding after certain URLs on my website:

    http://merlintm.x10.bz/?3ce9a940
    http://merlintm.x10.bz/anunnaki.html?8284a9e0
    http:// merlintm.x10.bz/visitors.html?dfcc5bc0

What is this coding exactly and why has it started to appear throughout different links on my site?

I don't exactly know the reason but it seems alright now. Are you still getting the problem?

Yes, it just happened a few minutes ago when I clicked on the index page, then it disappeared. Seems like some weird tracking code, but from whom? That is the question that concerns me.

It seems to have stopped..for now. I will continue to monitor future occurrences.

I tried again and again on two different browsers (chrome and firefox) but didn't get any code after url.

if you are using Firefox try using private browsing and post back if you still get the problem.

Re: Strange Random Coding After All URLs

It isn't a matter of switching to private browsing settings in FF, as I can see from my stat reports that some of my visitors have also periodically received random codes after they clicked on links, so it is not just my browser having this issue.

While you have just not received the code, I'm thinking that it is purely random, perhaps after x-amount of clicks. Not sure if StatCounter is doing this or not. May have to inquire.
