Hello,

I wanted to inquire about your free service. I use a separate free unlimited hosting service already, but recently my website went down and all the edits I made from the past month had disappeared. Since this incident, I've been unable to log into my cPanel, so I was considering migrating.

I want to know if I could run a rather large Wordpress/Buddypress installation on your free server, with about 2000+ visitors a day? What are the file size limits that have been set in place? I have done some research and I notice that I'm from a high-risk country. Will these limits set me back?

I also read on a review site that AJAX isn't allowed, and is considered a huge offense. Is this true?

You may get suspended for high resource usage, I would definitely recommend premium hosting (but if you want to try Free, fair enough).

No, that is not true.

Not true.

BUT, if you run an AJAX application that connects back to the server/MySQL every 5 seconds on every page of your site, you will probably get suspended for high resource usage. You are on a Free, shared server. If you become a resource hog, expect consequences.

I suppose I'll have to give my website a redesign then, as it fetches posts via ajax when a user clicks on a link to that post. I'll reimplement it when I have more funds. Thanks for the assistance!

Nah, that would be fine.

I don't think it would be fine, as posts are stored in a database and if I have up to 2000 visitors a day navigating through posts, I believe the load would become quite high :P

I'm saying that using AJAX would be fine. In fact in this case it would be better to use AJAX as it would actually reduce HTTP requests, and therefore reduce resource usage.
