login to cpanel

I have obtained an active web hosting account but i cant login to cpanel
I am receiving the message that the user name i am providing is invalid
username bluelab
password beagle

what am i doing wrong
pleas assist

Don't ever post your passwords here. We don't ever ask for them, and EVERYONE can see your post here in the forums. Go change your password ASAP to secure your account.

Where are you logging into cPanel? If you clicked the "Login to cPanel" button from your hosting details in your account panel, it should take you right into your cPanel without asking you to login.
