Can't go to any of my files

Ok so I made a new html files the way I Wanted and when I go to them I keep getting an error message! Please help me.

Did you erase public_html? Cause there isn't one on your account, and that's where the files are supposed to be.

Yes I did and I can't make a new one or anything can you restore it some how pelase?

I take it back, apparently it -will- work on first try

I've recreated the folder; whenever a script calls for the web root, they're referring to public_html - don't erase this folder if you can avoid it
