Prime membership

I am thinking of upgrading to Prime membership and was wondering if the cost of $4.95 (1 year) is charged per month or its a one-time payment? Thanks for any info

Prime Membership is charged on the cycle you choose (3 months, 6 months, or 1 year). The $4.95 is an annual fee therefore it is charged once per year unless you cancel the subscription.
