Can't access cPanel

Hi there. I've just created an account registered. Logging in welcomes me and prompts me to access cPanel through a link button. Upon doing so, a new page opens up showing the following message:

Safari can’t open the page “https://chopin.x10hosting.com:2083/l..._theme=cpanel” because Safari can’t connect to the server “chopin.x10hosting.com”.

I am trying to access on a Mac, OSX 10.6.6. When I try the same access with an iPhone, I can see the cPanel alright. What do I need to do?

Are you behind a firewall on your Mac that might block port 2083 ?
