PHP safe mode

I read here that safe mode for php can't be turned off for free hosting memers but I'm confused for premium accounts. I have installed Mysidia and need php safe mode turned off. We are looking into purchasing a premium account and need to know if this option will be available in premium mode. Thank you in advance.

That is a very old thread from 2009. We have made significant configuration changes since then, so I recommend against relying on old threads as sources of information.
