Addon domains and parked domains

I'm new on cpanel..let's say i only know the basic things...file manager...fantastico and those... but i don't understand about addon domains and parked domains... does that means that i can be like a host for another people?..or i may have different domains in one account...or what?

A parked domain parks it over you current domain, so you can access your site from like example.com and exampleb.com, were an add-on domain gives the content a new dir, so example.com and exampleb.com have different content.

parked domain points to your whole website so example.com would be pointed to the root of example.x10hosting.com, whereas add-on domains would point to a directory, so example.com would point to example.x10hosting.com/directory
