    Forum language

    Hi all
i would like to ask a small question.
i would like to host a forum here, i already have an account,(the hosting is great, BTW ;)), the issue here is that the forum's main interface would be in English as a default, with another language (Arabic) as option (Language pack)
the question is if my users posted threads and replies in Arabic, will i be violating your TOS?

    Regards

    Re: Forum language

from what I understood, you can only have something in another language if you have an officially supported exact translation of everything. So the interface is ok, but with the posts you might have a hard time...

But I'm not sure, I asked when I joined if I could make a website version in another language and this is what I've been told. A moderator or a more experienced user might be more helpful here...

    Re: Forum language

Well we don't have any admins/moderators that know Arabic, which is why we only permit English/Spanish/French. However, an English translation of the language would be acceptable from previous experiences I've heard. I just don't know how you would provide an English translation of a forum post in Arabic.. it'd be a lot of work unless there's a way to automate it

    Re: Forum language

If I can go to your forum and clearly see the topics being discussed are not illegal, like linking to warez, etc... then it's okay. If I go to your forum and have no idea what is going on, that is when it becomes a problem.
