XML request error: Internal Server Error (500)

I'm getting the following error when browsing image files on the server...
XML request error: Internal Server Error (500)
SMF 1.1.3 with TP 0.98
Any ideas?

Usually a 500 error is caused by file permissions also. Make sure your files are 755 or below. 644 seems to work for a lot of people also.

I tried the WhizzyWig editor, and I get this error:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Internal server error can be permissions or .htaccess errors. Check those and you may find the answer.
