Error 500 Internal Server Error Installing Wordpress

I have found it easy to install wordress (manually) in the past but trying to put it on my x10 site (othrayte.elementfx.com) doesn't seem to work. All I did (ie what I expected I had to do) was upload the lastest version of wordpress, create a database and run the install file, but alas any php file I run (that is related to wordpress) comes back saying error 500 internal server error. I have no idea why. Please help.:dunno:

This is usually due to permissions. Make sure you check them all to see if they are correct.

Yep... you should check file permissions.
I have a blog, i suppose that it's nice and i also used WordPress 2.2.2 and worked fine on x10 webhosting.
You should try again, because it must work. If it worked for me will work for you too.
The only problem is that in the last few days the websites were down a lot , but i always agree with administrator that updates/upgrades have to be made because it's good for everyone.

CHMOD have to be 755 because 777 isnt allowed in x10hosting
