MySQL Database hostname

Most forum installers ask for my MySQL database hostname, which I do NOT know which it is. I'm uploading IPB.


Can someone give me a quick hand? Which is my MySQL DB hostname or where in cPanelX can I find all my MySQL info.

What you are looking for is 'localhost'.

With most hosting, it is localhost unless told otherwise - if it isnt, it usually tells you with your registration details. I know that most have it as localhost, it seems to run smoother if they make that way.

Its "localhost" but with out the " ".

every host who's using CPANEL is "localhost" for the database host.
