I need help putting ads

I have x10 advanced.I know i need to put ads on the index.php. So how do you add ads onto the php file. I am not good at php.

Do i have to put a ad on every page or just the home page

i edited the index.template.php file and entered the code at the bottom. When i go the index. it is like this

the table is stretched out. Take a look. i want the banner at the bottom

i'm also not familiar with SMF but you can try putting the code at the footer.php if there's one

lolz... i never thought smf's coding is complicated or aren't user friendly compared to ipb / phpbb...

you can try ipb (older version or the trial version) / phpbb instead
