    Post Domain Redirection Glitch

    Okay, so i got a domain (blackpanicbutton.com) and configured it with the dns servers. Then i've gone to x10hosting.com/login and changed the main domain to this domain since i found that parking it was too slow while connecting (not to mention that might confuse future users), yes i de-parked it before changing the main domain.

    Now the problem is that I can login into the cpanel using the new domain but when I use that domain to see my website it redirect me to my old domain (blackpanicbutton.pcriot.com), which doesn't exist, instead. Help? ;_;

    Cpanel Account: snae
    New Domain: blackpanicbutton.com (was parked once but not now)
    Old Domain: blackpanicbutton.pcriot.com (should be free)

    You did it wrong...In cPanel go to Parked Domains and add your domain....You MUST wait, since that is the only way to do it. Also after you park your Domain you must set the Nameservers of x10 with your registrar.

    No, what you did is right.
    Go to: cPanel > Redirections, and make sure you don't have a redirection going to your old subdomain. You could also have the redirection set-up in an .htaccess, or if your script/CMS is configured to use your old CMS it may be redirecting too.. If so, edit the config file.

    Your idea about the script/CMS being configured incorrectly is correct, i renamed index.php to index.php_ and it didn't redirect to the old domain. I still need to see which script file from wordpress is redirecting but at least i have some idea how to fix this problem.

    Thank you very much. Keep the good work. (this includes everyone from x10 Hosting) ^_^

    Edit: Okay, it's fixed. Topic closed.
