PHP Upload Problem

Hey I'm messing around with a php script to make an image upload form. After the upload button is pressed, an upload error occurs. Also previously my friend has tried a professionally made gallery, but this did not work either when you get to uploading the photos. I am wondering if the php doesnt allow uploading for these websites? Or maybe there is an option for the admin to change that?

Oh and I did test it with gif files, so that isnt the prob :P
