help!!

Hi, I own glamour-designs.net

the server has been up and down a lot the past days and the whole day today it has been down
I just checked to see if it was up again and I got this error this time:
Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@glamour-designs.net and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Please take note that your server is currently down. I believe, if memory serves me correctly, that all servers are currently down. HTTP on all servers are currently down, but all the other services are up and running.

You are correct Mikey, all servers are down. retro-bliss, can you provide the link to where you recieved the error and please tell us the name of the server that is hosting your files please.

All servers should be back up and running now, Your site does seem to be having some problems, i am unable to connect to it with the 500 Internet Server Error aswell, the htaccess file may have been corrupted in some way, wait for an account manager or an admin to help you out with this.

Ct2k7, please view the server status before posting incorrect info... the servers are online and have been for a good 15 minutes.

Thanks, yeah I am on stoli server I think and when I go to http://glamour-designs.net the error comes up. but usually when the server is down it comes up as server cannot be found or something.
I am using firefox browser

Exactly, the servers are not down at the moment, like i said, it sounds like a issue with permissions...are you able to login to your cPanel and check the file permissions?

log into cPanel, find the Logs section and click on Error logs, see what it has in there.. Most 500 errors will make an entry into that log telling you what caused it.


However, the error is not always caused by an htaccess problem, hellsheep. It could be a file permission problem and more than likely is unless the user has modified their htaccess.

after a loong time of loading..

so it won't let me acess cpanel
