    Dreamweaver Help

    Hi,

I hope I don't sound like a total noob to this issue, but this is my first web site attempt. I just made a web site for my Intro To Web class using Dreamweaver (CS3). I found out how to operate the FTP put file option and I believe that all my files are up. But how do I view it?

On my cPanel it made a new folder that has all my files, but when I click view, all I get is the html text and I don't see my web site.

    Thanks

    briskimj

    Re: Dreamweaver Help

To try viewing your site just enter your domain into your address bar.
(http://yourname.domainchosen.com). Just don't put the ':2082' on the end as that will take you to the cPanel.
    Thanks,
    Dan

Remember to upload it to the public_html folder or your files will not be http accessible.

    Re: Dreamweaver Help

Thank you for all the help so far. But I tried the domain and all my files are in the Public_html folder and I still seem lost. My main domain is briskimj.pcriot.com with my home domain being /home/briskimj. Do I need to work with the home domain?

Here are some screen shots of what I see on my computer.

    Again thank so much

Many of the links point to a .htm file. But you uploaded them with the extension .html

Ahh ok. Hey I really have to thank you, I feel so new to this.

But I was able to fix the links in cPanel.

But it seems my flash movies and buttons still do not work
