my site down for almost more then 2week? dont know why u guys saying free hosting i have adenahcend free hosting still there is a problem i mean why every 1 says free hosting common waisting every1s time been waiting and waiting i got sicck of making a site why there is free hosts tht the websites wont work this is down tht is down just reove the freee hosting so no 1 will have problems keep calling it free hosting even if we dispaplay the ads in our site still the site is down?

Don't know why its called free hosting?
Want to show us where you've paid anything to keep your account? Therefore, without paying for it, its free.

If it works or not, its still free. ( again, no money has changed hands )

As for you having problems for two weeks, but very little posts regarding problems. Even this post says little - just that "My account doesn't work"

So, from my understanding ... you had MySQL issues and somewhere in there, your account was suspended. Am I correct?

From what i learned here at x10 i'm going to pay for hosting. it has been 3 weeks for me and i did not even get to build my site. Alot of people i build sites for i sign up with netfirms.com for hosting i was hoping x10 would have been a good host to try but if this is now there free hosting is, i dont want to take a chance and pay. any how my personal site and new clients will be over at *Edited*

Glad you are going to pay for hosting. Do you know the difference before free and paid hosting? Paid hosting normally DOES have better services, less downtime ( because less people are willing to fork out the cash to get the hosting - hence, free hosting )

Next time, do not post other sites - as if you have been here as long as you have said, you would of known the rules. But then again, x10 isn't for you as you stated. Hope you find what you are looking for.

yea I know the diff with free and paid. And it being free hosting is not an excuse for having down time. I mostly will be here to help people in the graphics section as I use to use x10 back in my AOL dial-up days(i feel obligated). I'm not saying x10 directly is not good service, I commend you guys for offering free hosting but you guys are bouning around users I mean come on lets be straight, its just not good for business. Now on the up side i hope all mods reading this (looks at chris) dont take it to heart. I set up WAMP on my lappy the other day. It was kinda hard to do, i can or can't imagen what a headache it must be over at x10. any how lets get this up and over with, no hard feelings.:happysad:

Everyone knows this is Free Hosting, and we at x10 don't unnecessarily take the servers down. Since we were having issues with the servers it was bound to affect the users and since the server issues were just resolved, some issues are to be expected before everything returns to normal.
