wierd email address

just a quick question regarding email address.

i have my own domain set up...

www.eneverdesign.com


and in trying to set up my desired email address (simon@eneverdesign.com) due to the way the system works when choosing the address, the only address i could come out with is " simon@www.eneverdesign.com "

i dont know if it is just me, but is there a way of not having the "www." in the address asit seems very wierd and unlike any other normal address.

It's probably because your domain is setup with the 'www'. Try changing the domain in the cPanel or the account panel, where ever you set it up to not have the www....

i was going to try that but was worried this would disrupt the link to my domain in some way? obviously not?

Remove the www from your main domain.

so in my account management panel : acccount details

i tick the box 'check if your using your own domain'

and type in ' eneverdesign.com'

rather than 'www.eneverdesign.com'

i have done this and now it says my primary domain is

http://eneverdesign.com

so this should still be okay to navigate to etc?

But you can also use google webmaster tools to read / check and send emails using your own domain using the GMail interference for free!

cheers for the advice.

i just set it up and it worked fine. i sent a test email and it was fine.

then it logged me out and i couldnt log in, and in my account manager it says i was suspended!!!

setting up that email is thie first and only thing i have done since getting the account at x10. there cannot possibly be a reason.

can anyone help?

hi, i have just been able to log on to my account panel for the first time in 3 days, managed to set up my above email address, have no pages up and setting up that email is the only thing i have done and yet i just randomly got suspended...for no reason (it does not say a reason in the suspension box either)



is this a bug, could someone please help me out.
