Error in account panel

Yesterday I had an error when logging in to my x10 account panel, I got an error that said...
An Error Has Occurred
Although you've logged in successfully, there was an error retrieving your account's hosting type from the backend system.

Please post on our forums to seek support on this issue.

I thought, no big deal, I'll wait a couple of hours and it'll be sorted.
But today I've been suspended for not having a linked account. Plus, I can't access the account panel to relink.

What on earth is going on?

EDIT: I unsuspended my account by using the link but am still unable to access the account panel.

What is your hosting user name? It sounds like the link was lost between your forum account to it.
