Installing two things in 1 Mysql database???

Ok my site is made with Joomla and I have Community builder installed and Fireboard at the moment.

Fireboard is a forum Component for Joomla but I cant stand it and it just doesn't work rite.

I want to install phpBB but I also Want My phpBB Forum to use my Joomla sites User profiles and logins and avatars and such.

Now to do this I need to install a Plugin For Community builder called "phpBB Connector" to Link phpBB to my Joomla site so that users dont have to make a new profile and login for phpBB and it will use the one they allready have with my site using Community builder.

The problem is phpBB Connector will not work unless I have Joomla and phpBB installed in the SAME Database..

I dont know how to do this using fantasico because it always creates a new database for every install.

Here is some text from the page i am talking about:

"What are the minimum requirements of the phpBB Connector?
The plugin requires Joomla 1.0.x, Community Builder 1.0RC2 or newer, and phpBB 2.0.17 or newer. Older versions of phpBB may work but have not been tested.

The plugin also requires that phpBB and Joomla be installed in the same database and within the same website ( along with CB )"

Ok I downloaded phpBB3 and uploaded to my site, Now to put it in the same database as my Joomla install I just put that data bases name and stuff in when the phpBB install asks me rite??
( I know what to put into the fields to install phpBB into my data base from searching the forums I just dont know if i am supposed to do anything to the Database 1st)

But do I need to do anything with mydata bases before I do this?

Will I have to do anything to the database before I install phpBB into the same database as Joomla??

I know nothing about how databases work and I dont want to mess anything up.

I read alittle more and I have to add a prefix for the phpBB database rite so that it wont mix stuff up with the joomla database?
