MySQLi Not working

hey, today i checked my website and it was just blank(and still is) i have now identified the problem: mysqli appears to be non existent the creation of mysqli object makes everyting go blank and mysqli_connect_error gives a function not found error. so is mysqli disabled or someting ? also i noticed that on the account info page it sais

maybe that has something to do with it ?

We are currently upgrading our servers which is causing some PHP functions not to work properly.

You may want to try upgrading to the intermediate version of PHP at http://x10hosting.com/account however I am not sure if that will fix the problem.

They are still not working i upgraded the php version didnt help, when is the upgrade completed ?
i will temporarily host my site elsewhere and redirect to there
