how to configure co.cc to point to x10hosting then to a blogsite

    Hello.

I am wondering if this sort of scenario is possible to achieve. I wanted my www.NAME.co.cc point to my website which is hosted at x10hosting with the same domain name then I can open a link to a blogsite. Do I need to follow every name servers, zone record and url forwarding for each phase?

So I guess I need to set up x10hosting nameservers at co.cc first, then the zone records and url forwarding? then, create a page that would link to a blogsite, right? Or, which ones the easiest to do..

Ya you must set the name server at CO.CC to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com then adding your domain here. You can choose adding your domain on cPanel as parked domain or addon domain, but i recommended adding your domain in cPanel as addon domain.

Why don't you point your co.cc domain to your x10 account, and then use a frame pointed to your blog site? No one likes redirects, especially if they are permanent.

I think I still need to know more about this Fantastico app. How simple would that be? Can you direct me to anywhere where I can understand more about installing wordpress and eventually using Fantastico and hosting my blog using wordpress? Thank you.;)

it would be verry simple, fantastico does just about all the work for you in just a few clicks of the mouse (it not only installs the blog but also takes away worrying about how to create a database)
links for more knowledge about all this are in your cpanel right where/before you install them

zapzack is right fantastico makes the install so simple

If you bothered to look at Wordpress in Fantastico as advised earlier, you would see that there are already links provided there for more info.

For even more info, have you tried this technique? ; http://tinyurl.com/m9k288
