It's a great game. I don't know if it qualifies for 3D status. I would call it 2D. Download the client and enjoy it! It's totally worth the 30 some odd megabytes.

By the way, make sure you download 3.5. If you download 3.0 it is only free for 28 days then you can't play anymore unless you pay $9.95 a month. 3.5 is free forever. Obviously there are benefits available only to paying players, but I would thing that's a given.

You can choose to be either a Warrior or a Mage. I feel the graphics are great, because 3D graphics affect my inner ear and I can't play them. It has sort of an up to date Final Fantasy (if the genre had stayed 2D, but what kind of sense would they do that?)

Maplestory

One of it's kind. Maplestory is a platform-MMORPG. You start out swinging a sword, club, or axe and gradually develop new skills and become stronger than ever! It's run by an American-based sub-company called Nexon whose mother company (also called Nexon) is located in Korea. In this game there are 4 classes in which you can choose from. Choosing your first class is the key to how your character develops and how the Ability Points affect your damage. The four classes are Rogue, Swordsman, Bowman, and Magician.

I tried MU - but couldn't figure it out. ( That goes also for ROSE also )
