NexT Gen. of GAMING! Who'll win?

It's been months now when the Battle of the Next Gen Gaming Systems started.
It's very tempting to buy all three, but... It's all about what's gonna be first.
As you may already know, the three new systems are cool and more powerful than its predecessors.
Which do you prefer?
And if you like the three of them, which will you buy first?
And so, the candidates are:

• Sony's Playstation 3 [PS3]
• Microsoft's XBOX 360
• Nintendo's Wii

For me, the first one in my list will be the Nintendo Wii... It's cool for all ages. And it's the remote that's magnificent. You know what I mean?

Second will be the PS3, 'cause you get two systems in 1. A game console, and a Blu-Ray CD Player. Not only that, it has cool graphics that makes game look realistic. And the PSP could connect to the system.

Last but not the least, the XBOX 360. Although the Wii and PS3 almost conquered it all, the 360 still has juice. In this system, its has some games exclusively made for the system. Actually, it's HALO that I want to play in the 360.


The cool thing about all these three, it is the next generation of gaming. Everything changes. :hahano:

I think the Wii will win. It's something new and not just another console like PS3\Xbox 360. New is always better ;)

I myself own a Wii and Xbox 360, I can easily say I've played the Wii 10x more than the xbox and it is a great hit at parties allowing up to 4 drunk people to play golf and baseball!

I believe if\when they come out with a Wii2(Hopefully updated graphics) it will beat the rest no problem.

Yeah, I agree.

The only thing that separates the Wii from the other two is it's unique controller. Not only that, but also the games. The games and the motion sensor controller makes such a good combo!!!

That's why I'm planning to buy the Wii first. :laugh:

I would take the XBOX 360, Microsoft is readying some very cool releases

I would take the xbox too but I don't get whats next gen about ps3 and xbox360.

They are next gen because they are new releses for the company.

Personally, I prefer the wii, and I believe that it will win the console wars.

Here's why:
1. Metroid Prime proved that wii has great fps capabilities.
2. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is coming out
3. The audience reached by wii includes pretty much every person who can afford a wii.
4. It's the only one of the three with an advanced, new controller.
5. Wii is the cheapest of the 3

I also think that the ps3 will out do the xbox.

The ps3 has better grafics potential.
Playstation has more experience making games.
Playstation games are better (this is a very opinionated statement)
Playstation has Blu-ray.
Playstation is the most expensive (bad)


We must not forget though, the xbox has HDDVD, which is not bad in and of itself.


Also, if you look at the sales and availability of each console.

From what I saw with a few google searches:
3.2 million wiis have been sold
3.6 million ps3s have been sold
6 million xbox 360s have been sold.

360s my favorite, and personally I think it will win over all as it has an established game market, a great online gameplay system, plus its many uses as a streaming media center. With Halo 3 out, definitely expect more 360s to be sold!
