Oh, and Flash isn't supported on Apple's iOS devices (iPhone, iPad) -- and there are people like me who run a Flash blocker in their browser to avoid unnecessary animation and sound (from ads, mostly). You're site had better offer something pretty darned compelling if you want me to whitelist you, and it doesn't matter how compelling it is if a substantial portion of your audience is going to be using an iPhone or an iPad.

Como bien establecen arriba el problema principal para mi gusto es que flash no se puede ver en dispositivos, pero también depende del objetivo al que tu página quiere llegar...

Por lo personal trato de evitarlo y me estoy inclinando más por jquery para galerías y animaciones básicas pero vistosas.

we cant compare that properly and accurately for it has to be based on what kind of site one is planning to make. flash is really good if your site focuses on product advertising or any other ads. On the other hand, flash doesnt look really good if one's site is for social networking, tutorials etc. this is all my opinion tho
