Two designs - Please criticise and comment

I'm starting a web design studio, and I'd like to show you my two designs. I never got around to posting them here, so:

Please comment and criticise the two, and please tell me which design you consider better.

nice design you gt there but for my taste its too simple i like more designs with some graphics than a lot of text only but thats just me dont pay me attention.

Agreed to the poster above me. Needs more elements on your site. Unless your aim was for something really elegant, then in that case I would stay with what you have.

As for comparison between the two, the second one is my preference.

Not bad I like the second one too it's nice and clean although both are fairly clean looking. Good work!! cant wait to see what they look like on a website!

I must say I prefer the first one. Really simple and shows everything you need. It's sure the second probably reflect more the name of the "company" (cubeform production) with the background but something like that could also be implemented in the first design.
