It looks to me like some kind of bulbs which have become blurred due to movement of the camera.

Yea, I have to agree with everyone else on this. The background doesn't look all that good. It doesn't really look all that well, it looks like a bunch of dots that just shot through some piece of wall or paper.

It looks alright, I'll give you that as a final thought.

It's supposed to be some random abstract background to be used as a desktop wallpaper just so you know.

The idea behind it is good, but the way your spots are placed in the page are just plain boring. Even an abstract background should have some organization, or a message/idea to show.
