embed videos

Well i'm designing a site with joomla and i was wondering if you could embed videos on it????and if you can how do you do it???

well for my website, i used Flash, and it seems to work fairly nicely so far.

you might want to check there to embed the video, with Joomla you should be able to, just switch the editing mode to HTML raw (line breaks are not converted automaticly, to do that do <br />)

What format is the video that you are attempting to embed? Why don't you try installing a module which you could find by searching in Google; I'm sure there would be something there to your liking.

You might try looking for a plugin on the Joomla site to embed videos, Search for one by name of AllVideos plugin.

ok it's working now thanks gamingx i downloaded the allvideos plugin and now it's working.....and thanks to the rest of ye for taking your time to help me.....
