    frames

i was wondering if it was a good idea to have frames so that if someone goes to an external link, there are frames so that people can click to get back to my site. is this a good idea? and is there an easy way to do this without having to make a page for every xternal link. just like in google images

Have you thought about just opening the link in a new window? Your site will still be there. Let your visitors know that external links will open a new window or tab, so that they know they can return easily. New windows can scare some people, and so can frames, but frames can be confusing to some people too.
    It's just my 2 cents.

    Re: frames

I have seen some tutorial site that just link to other tutorials, but to go back to the original site, they have a little frame at the top like a bar..I think it is un-obstrusive, and neat. Also it doesn't affect me.
