Ok i got this friend who wants a website design...read below plz.

The contest is to see who can create the best car enthusiast web sites. We are looking for websites that are up to par with www.vwvortex.com to be considered.

Website Requirements

The main issues to comply with are not to copyright the site as we will be hosting it for you under our domain. They will not be able to be used if they are copyrighted.

You may use all flash for the site, but we will also require an html site to complement it.

The header will be a clean professional picture of the vehicle. The header should incorporate a navigation bar with the following 6 links to pages within the site. Compare it with www.vwvortex.com and sample sites below.

Home Page/Main Page

The following are the requirements for the main page.
The home page will have the header at the top. (links included see header/banner requirements below)
There must be an area set aside for featured parts/affiliates.
The main body of the page will be set up at your discretion.
At the footer (end of page) the following links must be available. A link to our disclamer. A link to our copyright
information. A link to invite people to advertise on the site (ex: advertise with us). A link to our affiliates
The following is the flow requirement for Acecarparts.com enthusiast sites. You may ad additional content and
pages.



Home Page

Forums: Chat rooms/forums on all topics of vehicles

Gallery: Will host pictures of members vehicles and supplied pictures.

History: Will provide a history of vehicle from conception to present day

Performance Zone: An area where performance products are sold and reviewed

Information Zone: Useful tips and informational section on vehicle.


Requirements for all other pages

All pages will have the header/banner incorporated at the top of the page. The header/banner images can change
from page to page but links on banner must remain the same.

Information zone: Add anything you like.

Performance zone: Add anything you like.


History: Add the historical information for the car, pictures etc.
this page that you would like.

Forums/Chat Rooms: The forums/bulletin boards/chat rooms will be implemented after site completion. (WE WILL DO THIS, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO)

It Will Be Great If You Can Add A Flash Intro, If Not Its Ok, The Best Design Will Be Chosen,

And We Have Decided To Let You Just Create The Layout Of The Site, Not All Thats Required. We Will Do That For You

yea i am also making one, i just want to compare between yours and mine, and dont worry i wont choose mine as the winner, im doing it for the fun of it. i will upload my version when the contest is over. i hope tyler helps me judge this contest, hmmm....lemme ask him,

ok guys you have until the 15th for the contest. your template will be shown on the eXtreme designz website. (dont know yet, but it might be sold to others and you will get split profit, if we do sell that tempalte) =]

answer to limelights question, "name of site"
well for now you can just put eXtreme designz but you should give me an editable or blank banner. it is recommeded that the banner is either photoshop (.psd), fireworks (.png), or flash mx (.fla) file

BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE... and remmeber the layout can be HTML, MS FRONTPAGE, DREAMWEAVER, PHOTOSHOP (needs to be converted to html), FLASH MX (should include the .fla in zip file), SWISH MAX (should include editable data)
