Simple and effective for users who may be thinking "Huh!!? What's happened here then!!?"

It's always good to make a custom error page, I think I'm going to take the time and effort to also make some.

not all that hard really. just find some page with a list of them and take the most frequent ones and put em on your website via htaccess. and yes, usually if your error page is too fancy, people will freak out. I was planning on embedding it within my SMF website, but I was too lazy. *Read Location* lol.

Simple and clean, I like it. You might want to provide a little more infromation on what a 404 error is (not found) for the 'less knowledgeable' amongst us though, the numbers might scare the noobs .
