Image transition effects for IE

I just came across this site that explains how to transition from one image to another using JavaScript. These effects are kinda similar to some of the video transition effects from Windows Movie Maker.

Haven't tried doing anything special with them yet, but a creative mind could no doubt make a rather interesting use of these effects.
