Vexing CSS Problem; Floats Not Working

    Hi all,

I'm currently in the process of setting up a Creative section for my site to host stories, reviews, etc, etc that I write. I'm using an Article Management System I found on a forum somewhere; I can dig up the actual link if you need it.

My problem is that I cannot seem to get the actual content of the page (either the 'homepage', the categories, the article lists, or the actual content) to 'float' next to the categories list like I need it to. I've tried everything I can think of, the layout works correctly in the mockup but not in the actual PHP (I would be happy to share that via PM, I'm not comfortable posting the source for anyone to see).

Any and all help is appreciated - Thanks!
