DAZ Studio is a powerful modelling tool, which is designed for character rendering.

Yep - DAZ is cool. I've been using it for about 2 years, when Vic 3 was all the rage.

Its not really a good modelling tool though - most scenes are built up from pre-modelled kits.

That said, for a free package, it rocks! - loads of freebie downloads at renderosity.com
