Website on digital painting, concept art or character design?

Hi All,

Is there any website that teaches digital painting or concept art or character design?

I find it difficult to do any nice digital drawing or painting compared to my skills on pencil. Maybe some tutorials on basics will be useful.

As for concept art and character design, I've always wanted to have something like sketches as website background. But I dun wan them to be drawn and scanned, it's no longer the old era, I rather have them create on photoshop, illustrator etc, and export them as image or used in vectors.

Well I see that this is already 6 months old, but in case you are still exploring software and are serious about digital art, then you really should check out Corel's Painter program. It supports all natural media from pencil drawing to oil painting to watercolor.
