how can edit .swf flash templates

i have flash templates but they are in .swf format single file.

1 wich softwere shuld i use

now i am using adoby dreamweaver cs4

You cannot edit a SWF file without the use of a program called flash, the SWF file is the finished file, the file to edit is in the format of: yourfile.fla

If you have bought this from somewhere it will most likely have the .fla file and a notepad file like an XML file to edit the text/images/etc.

you need software to decompile the swf file and other software to create flash ...
hnot all but a parl of flash site you kent make chang in the html file
