    VizOxidy Design

    Heyo everyone.

Just looking for some comments/critique on this design I did. I've been working on different concepts for the better part of 5 months now, and I think I've hit the nail on the head with this one. It's simple, stylish, and sleek. I think it all plays very nicely into each other and looks great. I believe my careful use of color worked well with the effect I was trying to get. I used color to highlight elements and make everything sort of "pop".

Tell me what you think! Be as hard as you need to. There's still some bugs in it I need to fix (pixelated stuff, etc)

It looks good, I like the header, it has sort of a shattered glass look. Not a fan of the gloss in the top left, not sure if its the shape or a little bit to visible. The background might be a tad dark too, depending on the background color(s) you have.

I'll try setting the opacity of the gloss a little lower.

What background color are you talking about? The content bg?

First of all I don't like the logo. I don't even think it's important but just wanted to point it out.

Main menu separator is a simple black line and it's breaking a perfectly gradient background. Try using a lighter color (like gay or something) or even remove it.

White text on lime background is really hard to read.

"Read more..." link is hardly visible due to dark gray background. Talking about that background I have to say it looks too gray and dull. It's not balanced with that cheerful lime you used elsewhere.

Search button font size is to big and lime button with gray borders is just bad.

Although I like the graphics you used I have to say that the header is far from perfect. I don't mean it's not good but rather that it don't belong there. Your layout is simple with small amount of details but your header is complex. That's making your overall design a bit unbalanced. You made some grate gradients in your layout, why don't you use some simple yet elegant gradient for the header too.

    Overall, really nice.

Thanks for the comments. I'll Work a little bit on it and see what I can do.

Like I said (or maybe I didn't), it's not the final version. I came here cause I know there are some great minds on x10. Thanks for the comments, I'll do a bit of work after I finish up my client's site (or while I stuck cause I have questions and he's sleeping. :P).
    Edit:
    I made it myself.
