Integrate HTML in flash

Well, is it possible?? Can I integrate html into flash?? And how do I edit flash templates? Do I write my content into a frame of flash or do I import it into frontpage? I tried the later but what happened is that the flash templates content can't be edited and I cannot add HTML codes in the content area (as the content has been written in a flash editting software in a frame??)

Sounds like you are trying to get the cart to pull the horse. Flash is a plug-in; you need a Flash PLAYER (which most modern browsers have) to view the Flash.SWF movie in your web page. After you edit the Flash.FLA file and publish it in .SWF format, you embed the <OBJECT ... info> created in the File>Publish Settings into the HTML -- the Web page.

I love animation, such as that created in Flash, but am against "all-Flash" sites that do not give visitors plain-old HTML navigation options to view content.

well, what I wanted is that there would be flash banner and footer....I also wanted to ad web widgets to enhance the website. But I really like flash templates and it seems I can't add HTML in flash frames.. Is there any software that can be used to integrate flash and HTML??

Hi: You'll need Adobe Flash CS3 for editing flash .fla documents. Get trial version of Flash CS3 from here: http://www.adobe.com/go/devcenter_flpro_try

You can also add html content into a flash document. I'm an actionscript developer so I'd go to 'Action' window of Flash CS3 or fire up Flex/Flash Builder to do that. You can find more about Flash htmlText here: http://livedocs.adobe.com/flash/9.0/....html#htmlText

Thanx ppl...I will have to download flash CS4 and to do that its gonna take about 2-3 days (I have a very slow net, living in a 3rd world country)... If it works I will let u guys know......thanx again.

Well, You want to integrate Flash into HTML or HTML into Flash. Generally a HTML page has flash content into it and if you want to achieve some linking or display of content then flash has its own tools and flash scripting is also available.
