Questions about ad-enhanced service

1. I understand that I would need to first post the ads on my site at or near the top, but would this apply to the forum I have on it, which is set up with SMF. If so how would I add ads to that?

2. What are the exact benefits of having ads posted to the site? Do I get more storage, bandwidth, not having to log into these forums or what? If someone could point me to a page or tell me the benefits that would be great!

To add the advertisements to SMF, you'll have to directly modify the header.php file that's included in every page of your forum.

The benefits of having an ad-enhanced account is a drastic increase in disk space and bandwidth. I know for sure that you start off with 500 MB of disk space, but can get up to 2.5GB by using the corporate advertisements.

Quick note for the SMF page, I believe if you hunt there will likely be a plugin/addon/mod for SMF that makes managing advertisements easier. That modification might come in handy, although I have no idea if it's still around or current (I used to use it on my SMF forum a few years ago, but I've since switched to phpBB so I don't know if it's still out there).

It's an option if it's still available though; might be easier than modifying the files, and quite possibly having them revert their changes if you ever upgrade/patch the forum.

i neee sumbody to help me. I have a freehosting account and i'm using smf my site is www.bestresearcherz.pcriot .com, i tried puting google adsense in it but it isnt showing any ad.
