No, you don`t need to post on forums. Just You have to login On forums once every 31 days to avoid suspension.

May be because you just signin to forums and signout after that. Sometime system don`t count your login.

spend sometime time on forums like 2 or 3 minutes... Just read New & Announcements and other important things. thats all..
