Go Away GoDaddy! Hello X10

Hello,

I run a small business and have a website for it. I went with GoDaddy.com hosting figuring they had good hosting. I WAS WRONG! It took me about 6 months to figure out why my site run like crap and my Flash videos wouldn't stream or load well. Nope, it wasn't the compression. It was the HOSTING!

My website is FLASH and contains videos in .FLV format. My videos wouldn't load, wouldn't stream and played back choppy using GoDaddy.com hosting.

Just as a test to see what was going on I found X10 hosting and decided to upload my entire site to the FREE HOSTING plan X10 was offering. BINGO! The videos loaded in lighting fast! No issues, faster loads.

I couldn't believe that a free hosting company would be faster then GoDaddy so I went to www.webpagetest.org and ran a comparison between the two URLs. My paid hosting with Godaddy, and my free account with X10.

It was confirmed! X10 was flawlessly FAST! I couldn't believe it.

I'm going to do a little more research on X10 and although they are a new company I will probably be moving my business website FROM NoDaddy.com and coming to X10 as a paying customer!

Thanks X10. Whatever you are doing you are beating GoDaddy on performance hands down!

x10Hosting has been around as a free/paid host since 2004. Just thought I'd point that out, they are not new at all.

Thanks for the info. Although I don't really consider 6 years that long for a business to be around, they do seem to have a good product.

I have been in business for 17 years, and my father owned 2 businesses for over 12 years and I can appreciate a business that has a good service and or product.
