I'm new here. Fairly new to the scene as well. Hope to dive in and develop some web apps!

I'm interested in Flash development, kinds of apps that let you read and write data to a database, so you could come back and log in with a username and access your persistent data.

I've wanted to do this for a while, but haven't had the know-how. This seems like a good place with good free-resources to start!
