New to Shared Servers - Smarty, PEAR, SOAP Locations?

I'm new to the shared server environment and so I have questions about it. I would like to use Smarty, SOAP and PEAR but I can't figure out where they are on the server...
Is there a shared location to call these apps or do all the users load their own instance in their own space on the server? Thanks in advance for your help.

Usually they are installed in a specific location on the server where apps call them. If you want to know where they are and how they are used, please check the knowledgebase (x10hosting.com/kb), wiki (x10hosting.com/wiki) or make a support request, because the admins know better.
