    Hello. Need help.

Hello everyone. I am completely new, both here and to web hosting. I have absolutely no experience in anything related to any of this. I have read all of the help and tutorials, but they didn't help. My site is up, in the most basic way (Title, home button, contact us and not much more). What little that is there is all wrong. I am not looking for a site review, yet. What I would appreciate is to know which is the simplest site editor and a very step-by-step manual. This is a personal site, so I don't need anything fancy. Basic and simple is all I need. Thank you for any help.

Plus, what's up with all of that stuff below? The first time I tried posting, I messed up and had to resubmit it. That's when I saw the stuff below. I tried deleting it. Again I messed up the criteria for submitting the post and it was back. I am especially bothered by: "Detect language » Hungarian". I don't live in and have never been to Hungary. I do not speak, read, write, type or have language support for Hungarian. I'm not even sure if I know anyone from Hungary or that has Hungarian ancestry. I was born in, raised in, have lived all of my life in, do reside in and am typing from the USA. I do not have a passport, the money or the time to go to Hungary. This paragraph equally applies to all of the other languages/ locations listed below with the exception of visiting Mexico only. I have also been to Canada but I didn't go to Quebec so French is still included in the no, never, not, none, didn't, don't, doesn't, hasn't and haven't category.

    Hello dnomeld60,

Welcome to x10! It's tough for a beginner. I know exactly what you are going through as I was the same way several months ago. Even now my web-site building legs are still bare bones. x10 does have its own site builder, RVSitebuilder, which has hundreds of cool templates to choose from. Unfortunately, it does not have a written manual, only video tutorials which you can watch by going to their support site. If you are looking for something simpler, you can download Komposer, which is a freeware WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) website builder, minus the many templates. For a really basic builder, download EZ Sitebuilder, a freeware which has few templates, built in help, and is relatively simple and easy to understand. Once you've mastered the basics of sitebuilding there, then you might be able to progress up the ladder to more elaborate builders which enable you in turn to build a more elaborate site.

As to the languages, I haven't the slightest idea. There are no such languages connected to this site that I know of except for spanish and french. Likely it's carried over from someplace else. The best of luck with your sitebuilding experience and may you have a pleasant stay!

    Re: Hello. Need help.

Thank you. I'll start with your recommendation of EZ Site Builder first. I have used the one linked to cPanel. I just cant figure out how to get the things that i want where i want and how to interpret the file system with the page structure. Hopefully this will help. If it doesn't, that's my issue. Thank you.
