    Smile Hey.

Hey, well I guess I just signed up I was just wondering awhile ago I searched to see if asp could be used on apache. All I could find was that asp could be used but the base language (by default vb script) would have to be perl. So I noticed this host uses apache and has asp(which is why I am here now) I have been trying to learn asp and find a host that fully supports it. I wanted to learn it under vb script so, does this host use vbscript as the base language or something else. Or is my question totally unjustified? :P

Anyways, so like I said I am new I make sites and I prefer working on browser based software. The reason I am learning asp is the platform I will be moving to for my projects is asp rather then php. I know html, css, php, i have a rough understanding of javascript. Learning ASP, and VB.

I don't have any sites ATM but once I get my software projects off the ground I hope to make one.

My web alias is Oy, I think that is about it for me. I guess I could say I live in Canada and I am 14 years old.

I hope to have a great time here.

    Re: Hey.

Welcome to x10, we have quite a few developers here. It's a great place to learn. For the ASP questions do a quick search for mod_mono, we're using that with Apache.

    Re: Hey.

Oh then does this mean that it is ASP.NET on these server rather then the ASP before that because I am learning the asp before ASP.NET.

ASP.NET seems much more complicated then it will ever need to be. I'll go try out a few scripts right now to see if my version of ASP works.

    Thanks.
