Hey guys, im New!

Hey guys, Im new to this site, tired of the restrictions placed on my by my old webhost. Great site and services I must say, transitioning was suprising easy (webdisk, easy ftp setup etc), and the control panel and all its features, yet still being simple and easy to use? Unbelievable so far. I do have a subdomain question tho:

1)I made a subdomain with my domain hoster, and set the DNS to their ns, but put in the IP of my ftp (ftp.trpmclan.elementfx.com), as the main ip. Waited a while, it said updating on their site, then it said done, pinged it, still said the wrong ns. So I was wondering, what is the ns adress I should?

2)I basically just want to use ftp.trpmclan.com, instead of ftp.trpmclan.elementfx.com, and althought I did manage to login with it at one point, the accounts wont connect, because they are all namehere.trpmclan.elementfx.com, versus just namehere. This is where im confused, I thought I knew what I was doing, but is it even possible to make it so I do ftp.trpmclan.com, which points to, ftp.trpmclan.elementfx.com, login as namehere, which would point to namehere.trpmclan.elementfx.com?

Im thinking it could be 1 of those addon/parked domain options but im unsure of what do to next.Thanks for all the help guys, great site!
