    why do we have to log in once a week and post?

    Correction: You have to login once every 2 weeks, and you do not have to post. Just login.

    The reason this is required is actually a very logical and simple one. Those that do not login to the forums obviously don't want/use/need their account anymore. Those accounts that are suspended inactivity are terminated after 10 days. Thus freeing up space on the servers for more accounts for people that do want/use/need them

    Yeah I think it's a really good idea and it makes people more likely to get answers to their problems otherwize people only post if they need help cos people who don't need help never post.

    On the other hand if you set your account to auto login I guess you feel compelled to post something just to be sure it did actually count you as logged in. What would be useful is if you could see on the x10hosting.com/account screen when you last logged in the forum - so you could check it registered.
